First off, we're not getting out of Afghanistan for a longggggg longgggg time... trust me. They already have a long-term plan for this crappy country. My worst fear, however, is we let the Northern Alliance do as they wish. NA are no different from the Taliban except for the fact that they have more respect for women. Other then that, their the same hate mongors...

Everybody understands that. But still, if they want off each other for us, who are we to complain?

Anybody watch that CNN special last night, Unholy War? They interviewed a man who said the NA is no better than the Taliban. That before the Taliban came into power that the streets were full of warring factions.
I'm not sure that we're doing any good over there, other than wiping out Al-Qeada and hopefully Bin Laden.

lets take it one step at a time. Wipe out the Taliban, then go for bin Laden. Al-Qaeda itself is of no use to use because it spans over 60 countries by mindless drone followers of bin laden. If we kill bin laden and that Dr. of his, who is supposed to be the real mastermind,
then the network will slowly collapse within itself.

While this infighting among the Taliban is good news I think we will also see it among the other factions before long.
