April 21, 2006 ? The U.S. government has charged Wenyi Wang, a Chinese national who has lived in the United States for 20 years, with threatening Chinese President Hu Jintao on Thursday while he met with President Bush at the White House.

After waiting overnight in jail, Wang was formally charged with "knowingly and willfully intimidating, coercing, threatening or harassing ? a foreign official performing his duties," a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in prison and a fine of $5,000.

This is one of the stupidest moves by Bush's team. Free speech truly is dead. Six months for stating the obvious.

You would face consequences for the breaking and entering and not for protesting oysters and paperclips.

She did not call for his assasination either. She should get some formal hand slap in public and booked for show and let out the back door with a job well done speech.

Do you personally think it was? I don't, and I don't think they have a case at all and are wasting taxpayer money to keeps us sheeple intimidated. It's not like she said she/they were going to kill him, all she did was embarass Bush a little. Heck, you'd think he would be used to that by now.


Heck, we don't even know if she planned on doing this beforehand or if her emotions just got the better of her.
