Is this out yet, and does anyone here have it? It's getting trashed over at the Gamespot forums, which makes me sad because I loved the original. Is it worth getting a Wii to play this (and other games obviously)? Thanks.

It's worth getting a Wii to play the original Tales of Symphonia...as well as the Metroid Prime Wii-makes ;)

I haven't played ToS 2: DotNW, but ToS1 was one of THE best RPGs ever, and possibly my favorite in the Tales series.

Playing ToV right now, pretty damn good.

I picked up ToS 1 on a lark this weekend, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. I've heard some mixed reviews of the Tales series, and ToS played quite nicely for the couple hours I gave it.

Loved ToS1, waiting for reviews of ToS2.

Presea...almost cried...well, actually, I did...

i'm a moron probably.... this is the first of the series that i'm playing, and i can't get pass the first serious boss.
hawk and crew in Asgard. got my ass handed to me twice.... what makes it even worse is the long cut scenes that i have to sit thru after each reload to get to that battle.

is there any trick to this, can i level up my guys some more before i come to this town?

I had the same problem, Pepsei. If you concentrate on everyone BUT Hawk first its easier. If you can leave town and go back to the Tower of Mana you can level up a bit.
