Taking your lunch to work

I work in broadcast so I technically don't get an official lunch break. Can't leave my desk long enough to go buy food so I have to bring stuff. At my old job, I used to go home. Only way I would get left alone for the full lunch hour.

It would cost me money since my employer currently pays for my food.

Re mmntech: We don't get lunch break either. In the one year I've worked here so far I have not gotten to leave the office during the day once.

I almost always buy my lunch. I try not to think about how much I'm spending doing that But with the way my work is I cannot count on being in the office at lunch time as I'll probably be at various clients, and with how warm it is during the summer I can't really just leave it in the car. Unless I double insulate, lunch cooler inside a lunch cooler with double ice packs :hmm:
