I have never heard of it killing anyone or being bad for you till that dude posted about it, but I'm sure it could do some harm. I have taken it after a night of drinking on several occasions.

Oh, and NEVER EVER take tylenol after/before/while consuming alcohol. It can be fatal.

i guess it's set in stone...

If Tylenol was reviewed by the FDA for over-the-counter use today, it would have a hard time passing, it's extremely hard on your liver, casual drinkers that take acetaminophen (Tylenol) frequently have had cirrhosis develop...

Very bad stuff, we keep an emergency bottle around, but rarely take it...

You can kill your liver with one bottle of Tylenol, I've seen quite a few suicidal gestures by folks that were just attempting to get attention and it literally killed their livers and they die a pretty miserable death a few weeks later.

Your abdomen swells up, and fills with fluid, you have extensive muscle wasting, and get confused because of the elevated ammonia levels in your blood. They become confused, pregnant looking fools until they die.

Why do you care about your health when you are drunk? Doesn'y anyone else see the irony of his question?

I don't see the irony. I see you trying to place irony where it doesn't belong.

Well it's just for pain relief which is pointless in the first place since hangovers don't happen til the next morning. It's really dumb to take some pain killers the same night cause you don't need them and they do sh*t for you. But it is important to care about your health when you're drunk...it depletes your vitamins/minerals so you need to supplement that, as well as drink plenty of water. You do this and you never, ever get a hangover....at least I never get serious ones that ruin my day.

i think it depends on quantities.

I have done it by accident before. One time, I was sick, and took a 500mg Tylenol. I was staying at a friends house. Well, 1 hour later we had a party. I forgot about my headache, maybe it went away or something, and so started hitting vodka shots like crazy. Anyways, i passed out. I regained conciousness 30 minutes later and was okay but decided it would be wise to lay of the alcohol at least for a few hours till the Tylenol ran out of my system. So, personally, I'd avoid it. You could probably get away with a few drinks but why risk it?

The irony is that he is worried about his health, yet he is drinking (to the point of ineberation (sp?))

I took tylenol colds (drowsy) and drank A LOT. Let me tell you, I thought I was on heroin. I ended up having sex with some girl I didn't know that well that I totally regret, and plus I puked about 3 times (and also twice in the morning). It enhanced the feeling of being drunk by I would say 4x, if not more. You know how everything spins when you're really drunk? Yeah... uhm it's that AND double vision, and bounciness of vision and a very numb feeling.
I read all these things about the damage it can do, and I get a sicky feeling in my stomach.

In other words, don't do it.
