Taking the wireless plunge -- Netgear questions

Well, I've finally decided to go wireless. Amazon has some nice prices on Netgear wireless routers, and I'm trying to decide which one to get: the 54mbps 802.11g router for $48.24, or the 108mbps 802.11G for $58.74. The price difference isn't too bad, just ten bucks more for the 108mbps router. Links here:

So, here are my questions:

1. Which router should I get?
The price difference is close enough that it doesn't matter which to me. Anyone care to share their experiences with either one, good or bad?

2. What is a good pci G nic to get?
If I get the 108mbps router, I'll have to get the special Netgear 108mbps pci card to run it that fast...that card is more expensive, but I can always get a regular G card and then upgrade to the 108mbps card later if I want...for ten bucks the 108mbps seems like a nice option to have. Is it best to buy the same brand of card as the router is? I'll only be using wireless on three desktops for now, and none of them really need 108mbps, but again, it's a nice option to have.
