Taking the keyboard off of a Gateway solo laptop

Hey guys, I have a solo 2500 laptop with an integrated cd-rom. I want to get a dvd-rom for it, so to do that, I have to take the keyboard out so I can get the cdrom out (it's not hotswap). Does anyone know how to safely remove the keyboard from the laptop? I don't want to break any keys and such.
