Ok, I have decided to go with an AMD based system and will most likely get the 1 Ghz T-bird. I have a few questions for Athlon owners:

1) Does a higher processor speed require more cooling? I don't plan on over clocking.

2)Will these processors be able to be used in a dual set up when the motherboards are available?

3) I will not attempt to build this system myself as I have no previous experience so if anyone here is from Toronto can you recommend someone good?

Thanks

yes a higher speed one makes linearly more heat so you need a better heatsink. Supposedly the tbirds and durons will be supported in dual boards.. but technically it could mean that Tbirds and durons will run on duals, and maybe they will need a new version when dual boards come out, who knows.
