Meh - problem being she wasn't always gorgeous. She lost like 15 lbs the last year and is looking really hot. I was into her a year ago, it's not about the body, its just a new added bonus to make my life more of a hell

yeah i think the best advice is just calm down a let things happen as they should. Sure make some extra effort to be around her more the usual and flirt all you want but dont freak out about it.

Agreed. There will be no freaking out, but the mad flirting will continue. When college starts again in the fall, you can bet I will visit, and we will get wasted, and share a bed (did it once, nothing happened but spooning, I will do better next time)

well, if you want to go for her on the basis of her personality, now you need her to grow attached to yours. hang out with her whenever you can (don't be overbearing), and just enjoy each other's company. that's the important thing.

good luck. hopefully you'll be a happy guy soon enough.

Wow tough luck man (about your best friend). Are you 21 yet? If so you should discover the wonderful thing called alcohol. Makes problems go away.

Edit: Didn't realize you were already drinking. Looks like you know what to do :)

Heh, it definitely helps, but I'm reminded of my friends favorite saying: "Alcohol: Now there's a permanent solution!"

Doesn't mean I'm not OK with a temporary solution for now though....
