I'm wondering how to take screen shots of my computer like so many I've seen online. I'm sure someone knows... Thanks. Oh yeah - if it matters, I'm running Win98SE right now.

Okay, I just asked this same question a little while ago and some (Actually a lot) of really cool people told me. Lessee if I remember right.

You press Alt + Prink Scrn and it pastes it to your clipboard. Then, you paste it into a graphics program like MS Paint and then just get it hosted somewhere. Voila! *Crosses fingers* Please be right....... ;)

It's either Alt + Print Screen or simply Print Screen depending if you want to capture just the active window or your whole screen.

ALT + PrtScn = Only active window screenshot
PrtScn = Everything you see (taskbar, all windows, etc) screenshot

Once you pressed the button just go to Start > Programs > Accessories and open Paint. Once that's open just Edit > Paste and you'll see the picture.

Download Snagit a full fledged program for screenshots and much more. It's pay software though but you do get 45 days trial.

For freeware get Irfanview Image Convertor at: Irfan Image Convertor

It can convert most images into other formats as well as alot of other features. You must download this program!
