taking screenshot in XP

I knew how to do it once, but now i forget. I want to take a picture of the whole screen....how?

press printscreen and paste it into program du jour

hit the button "Prt Scr."

Then go into Paint and go "edit-->paste"

The "Print Screen" button the keyboard. Then paste the bmp into something like Paint.
