Taking Political Correctness a little too far?

I'm all for cultural sensitivy and what not, but I think this is going to far:

Apparently LA County is asking manufacturers of PC equipment that they buy from to stop using the terms Master and Slave (e.g. in reference to hard drive connection sequences) because they believe it is offensive and insesitive
