taking out internal HD to go external

I got two HDs in my computer
I picked up new HD, I wanna put the new HD as slave,
take out current slave out and use it as external with enclosure
any chance of corrupting files by turning it into external enclosure?
I got some valuable files on my slave
btw, slave drive is partitioned into two drives
 
There shouldn't be any problems at all removing the slave and installing it into an external enclosure.
