A German man allegedly used a bread knife to castrate a 57-year-old man who dated his 17-year-old daughter, authorities say.

Angry that his teenage daughter was dating an older man, a German dad went to the 57-year-old's home and castrated him with a bread knife, police said.

Helmut Seifert, originally from Russia, recently pled guilty to attacking Phillip Genscher, according to London's Telegraph.

"I saw it as my duty as a father," the 47-year-old father allegedly told police.

With the help of two of his co-workers, he went to Genscher's home in Bielefeld, in northern Germany.

"[Genscher] was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated," police said, the Telegraph reports. "The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."

The father has not revealed the identity of the men who helped him. He is expected to go on trial next year.

Agreed. I'm about to turn 57...and even though it would probably be a fun ride, there's no way in hell I should be dating a 17 year old girl. (even discounting the fact that I'm married) It just seems creepy as hell...but oh my...young, tender, sweet flesh..mmm.mm.mmm! 😛
 
I hope the dad spends a long time in jail. I'm guessing the girl was above the legal age of concent in Germany and regardless of how disturbing the age difference is to most everyone their relationship was likely legal and the dads actions were quite heanous

Age of consent in Germany appears to be 14, so let's say you were the father of a 14 year old over there and a 57 year old had sex with her. Would you not care because she's of age to consent? The father was in the right here, I don't give a shit is 17's legal there, that's disgusting. The father should have shoved the testicles down the dudes mouth after he cut them off. The country having a consent age that low's disturbing as shit.

This wasn't a case of rape, this was consensual sex. It takes two to tango, the daughter consented to Sex, it doesn't matter how old the guy is. The daughter was 17 and it was her decision to have Sex. I hope that he looks forward to a long time in jail over this. This is almost as bed as the stupid honor killings.

So if she was 14 and had consented it would be okay with you? Hell if this was a niece of mine I'd be in jail for fucking dude up.

What the law is and what people agree are moral aren't always one in the same. I also think 14 is disturbingly low of an age. You're still a kid at 14.
 
Well, now he's definitely not going to stop banging her. There's not even a remote chance that she'll get pregnant.
