Taking hardrive from one comp to another,,,,

Ok...

I know this sounds elementary but better to ask a stupid question than to make a stupid mistake

If I want to take a harddrive (IBM 30 gig DTLA) from one system and put it in another and take that harddrive and move it to the other system what steps should I take?

I am going to load a fresh install of win98se on both hardrives so....all I need to do is load the drives in their new motherboards..boot with the win 98 bootdisk and erase all partitions (therby erasing all data and then repartition..reformat and load the operating systems?

Let me know if I am missing something so I don't cry the big river later on..heh..

Make sure you have these

Just put the hard drive in and boot, win98 should pickup most of the hardware and provide the drivers, make sure you back up the drivers to a floppy or slave drive first.
