Taking driving test Saturday.. Update: Passed

Taking it through the driver's ed. company so I can get it done before I turn 16 so I can go in, take the written part and leave with my license 😀

I've got a few days to learn to parallel park, I did it a couple times in driver's ed, but I never really use it...

Update: I passed, test was 5 minutes, he didn't even have me do any parking, hehe.
 
HAH! My test did not consist of parallel parking (no one around here has had to do it for their test that I know of) all we had to do was a three point turn.
 
i should've failed parallel parking...but he kinda talked me through it and passed me anyway.

but it really wouldn't have matter if i had failed it b/c we're allowed to fail one part of the test.

the dude was so fat though...he almost couldn't fit in my car..even with the seat put alllllll the way back. heh...
 
I had my driving test with a mean black woman. She was angry at the world for some social injustice done to her ancestors. However, out of all the test-takers that day, I was the only one that received a "good" written on my driving test. Text-book, 1 pass parrel parking....8.5 inches from the curb. Speed control, lane position, turning, etc. were done with a minimal amount of hand motion, perfect balance, mirror and visual checks were outstanding. I was a Bentley driver without the Bentley part. A true professional.

My driving has gone downhill since then...i can't parallel park, maintain speed, and have been in several at fault accidents with parked cars causing thousands in property damage.

No, mirror checks and over the shoulder checks are sufficient. Unless you are fat and can't turn around enough.
 
Congrats. If you didn't pass the test I would have been forced to find you and beat you with the stupid stick. The driving test is probably the easiest test you will take in your life, if you know how to drive. Once again, congrats.
 
You took it through the driver's ed company? I did it through my school. My school was so poor that we used the same car for driver's ed and sex ed. Sometimes both at the same time. To poverty :beer:

lol @ sex ed.

Yeah, if I take it with driver's ed, I can take the test before my birthday so I can get it done ahead of time. Except, I can only take the written part a month after my birthday, but atleast it gets the driving part out of the way.
