Best way to pass FARE is working through as many questions as possible. You'll probably end up walking out of the test feeling like you got bent over, but chances are good that everyone else is feeling that way as well. The only book material that is really important to focus on, unless your background is gov't/nfp accounting, are sections 8 and 9 of Becker. I remember getting to those two sections and feeling horrible as none of the classes I took in college covered it.
