Taking Cisco CCNA/CCNP

I'm going to take a Cisco CCNA/CCNP Course, just wonder how this course is. Doing it worktime so its gonna be a smooth ride hopefully.

I've kind of made a plan with different courses I should take which are avaliable to me and these are
Cisco CCNA/CCNP
Cisco ICND
CompTIA iNET+ Cert
CompTIA Network+ Cert
CompTIA A+ Cert

Various OS Courses, networking/security

Does this sound reasonable to anyof you? Will these certs help me get anywhere?

go with the cisco certs, most valuable in the industry

then its microsofts certs

somewhere lower on the list is comptia

I did not find the MS Certs. Seems like they're not avaliable yet. These courses are free for me to take at work and the MCSE, MCP , etc are not avaliable yet.

The cisco certs are definitely worth it. Not only do they have value on your resume, but you will learn a lot about routing. It is good to know how your network works.

Don't waste your time with the comptia certs... hit the Cisco ones first and foremost, and if you are still feeling a little masochistic after that, go for the MS ones.

The Cisco ones will benefit you the most by far.

Allright. I'm doing it like this then. Im gong to take all the avaliable Cisco courses, then move on and see if I find any avaliable MSCE/MSCA/MCP courses if I still feel I want to waste my time I'll go for CompTIA courses just for the heck of it. If I manage through the CISCO courses I think I would be able to take the A+ fairly quick.
