Taking care of leather coat?

there's Leather lotion and Leather Protector i bought when i got my lambskin leather jacket. Works pretty well. (got it at wilsons leather)

What i want to know is if it's possible to repair tears in lambskin... my roommate ripped my jacket up and i was wondering if it's possible to fix it up. about a 3-4 inch tear.

Yeah, there are products out there for this. I remember seeing a black gum-like substance that's supposed to seal small tears.
