I am going to be commuting from SF to Sunnyvale this summer and I was wondering if anyone had figured out how much better it was to take Caltrain rather than driving. I live about 3-4 miles away from the nearest Caltrain station in SF, and my destination is about a mile away fropm the station (there is no taxi though and the nearest shuttle I can find only goes half a mile away). Caltrain says it takes the train an hour to go there so I figure it'll take me 1.5 hours with walking and driving ... it's only about 35 miles and I am going opposite traffic so I am wondering if is better to drive or train it. Does anyone here take Caltrain? Is it nice? Are there AC Adapters for laptops and the such?

no hes talking about caltrain

bart does not go to sunnyvale... I think the furthest bart goes is fremont, which is still quite a distance from sunnyvale.

I've rode in caltrain once, the train itself is very nice and comfy, better than bart. However I wasnt paying attention to electric sockets or things like that... I guess that they have it

I'll be commuting on the weekdays ... plus BART doesn't go from SF to Sunnyvale .... it basically ends at SFO (which is only 7 miles from me). The BART is much longer on the east bay side, going all the way to Sunnyvale.
