Is there a good resource that has details on disassembly of this player?

NOTE: This is for battery replacement and possible modifications so the disassembly process must be inert - the damn thing needs to work after re-assembly and not look like it was fed to a riced out insinkerator!

Any 5G sites?

Heck it's hard to find a 5G case for the darn thing. The Pacific Design 4G works for now but it cannot be closed when the earphone jack is in use. 🙁

There's no verbiage that says it shall not be opened.

That just makes it even more tempting to open even if it breaks it. LOL It's not like they're not making them any more. 🙂
