Howdy,
My wife is a member of an email list that people use where one person sends out an email and it sends it to everyone on the list. Then when someone replies it goes to everyone on the list again etc. And this list doesn't have a website at all with any forums or anything.
Is there any scripts or programs or anything anyone knows about that could take emails that come in from a list like that and somehow convert them into a forum like layout so people can read them easier instead of having to wade through emails? She gets like 30-50 emails every day from this list.
It is a standard type wher eyou can choose the Daily Digest version instead of the individual email version but those Digest things are even harder to read because everything gets all messed up together.
Not sure if there is a system that does this already or if there's some script type thing I could download and play with to make it work right.
Just thought I'd see if anyone knows of anything like this.
This would almost be like using a Yahoo Group where you can send an email to the list or you can post a message on the website, and either way, the message goes to both places.
Even if the forum part was read-only and you had to send the messages through email that might be a fine place to start.
