GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I can think of a million (well, maybe 10) things that we Americans have taking for granted. Well, each person just name one thing and please put a number in front to keep track. I just want people to think twice next time when they see a homeless person. Because if you don't cherish the things and the freedom that you have right now that alot of people in other countries doesn't have, it could be you asking for change.

I'll start

i was thinking something similar the other day ,lucky to be raising my kids in europe where they're pretty safe growing up in comparison to places like west africa-sierra leone and liberia etc.but that could change very fast the way things are going.

We are very lucky to have a great leader like GW who is prepared to make the necesary sacrfices for us(ie taking away our rights) to ensure that those evil evil terrorists don't do something like we let them do on September 11 again.

We didn't "let" them do anything. If Clinton or Gore would have been President it still would of happened. The rights that you say were taken from us was done with the approval of both parties.

Honestly we don't know who let what happen. The administration has thusfar refused to release anything leading up to September 11, so we have no way of knowing what the Administration knew before the towers fell.
Yes, both parties did approve the PA, but whitehouse was pushing very hard for the bill to pass and our country was in a very unsure time. I bet that if they tried to pass it again there would be different results(it may have still passed, but the voting breakdown would probably be a lot more partisan).
