taking ambien and nyquil

Q: Can you take Ambien and Nyquil safely at the same time?

A:
As long as you take the required dose of both. Talk to your doctor to see what medications you can mix, but Ambien (Sleeping Pill) and Nyquil shouldn't have an interaction. There is a phone number on the back of the Nyquil, call them and see if there are any dangers.

if it's got Pseudoephedrine in it, it will probably make it hard to sleep.

i'm surprised even a 30 mg Pseudoephedrine is legal. that stuff is powerful.

You should know by now that dennilfloss is usually full of shit.

Nyquil does NOT contain Pseudophedrine.

Nyquil D, which is only available behind the counter, and by request, contains Pseudophedrine.

They are two different formulations.

The link I posted from Drugs.com does mention Pseudoedephrine. That's why I wrote "is said to contain".

Acetaminophen/Dextromethorphan/Doxylamine/Pseudoephedrine Liquid

Maybe our Canadian Nyquil is different because I doubt this drug is a prescription medicine here.

Most important thing for me is that Nyquil is absolutely vile so I take Neocitran in warm water instead when I have the flu.

Nyquil doesn't contain pseudoephedrine, Dayquil does.

Also taking alcohol & sleeping pills together = very bad idea. people who don't want to wake up do that.
