Taking a ride to Micro Center

I'm looking for a wireless mouse and will decide on one while I'm there but I am curious about Gaming Headphones. Last time I was there I seen some connect via USB, and others by the smaller jacks (1/4" and 1/8") and I'm looking for not the best but just under what's best. Not worried about a budget for a good set. And what's the difference between USB vs the other connections? I've never seen that before.

I'll be running the headphones through a Creative Zx setup.

Here are my options. Can you recommend me a pair based on your knowledge and experience?

Thank you! 🙂

1st thing is that you will not be taking advantage of the Creative Zx headphone amp if you use USB.

2nd rule out all Turd Beach. Total junk every single one of them.

3rd Senheisers, Steelseries, Razor, and Corsair get thumbs up and decent reviews. I've used sennheisers, Razor, and Corsair. I like the Vengence 1400's alot, especially for the price

Good luck only buying what you went in for......

Get the thrust master for the XBOX as its been tested with more gamers than the other headsets so you can wear it longer without any much discomfort.

Using a gaming headset and wireless mouse on the redline to metro center.

Black field logitech mouse with xbox 360 wireless will do you good for starters but wearing that to micro center is just a pickup line for thugs to steal from you and beat you up.

I can get away with it because I am 6'4" and over 250 pounds when in D.C.

How lucky was I to find a USB extension cable, 6'. The problem was because the mouse was so far over to the right the cord was in the way of the keyboard. I just didn't like reaching to my left to grab the mouse and point. So instead of a $20 wireless mouse, I went ahead with the $14 6' USB extension cable now the cord runs to the back of my desk then to the left. My desk is 71" wide and I have each PC on a side.. anyways.

Ta da!

Thanks all. Oh yeah. I made it out of the store with just that! 🙂 Wheew!
