Oh bs. I played lacrosse throughout highschool. You play 110% all the time no matter what. The top team in our area, that took the state championship every year, would outscore their opponents by at LEAST 25 goals every single game.
Their coach wasn't a dick, he was a guy who had an extremely groomed and professional team that was vastly superior to everyone else. You don't coach your team to let up if someone else is not as good as you, you coach them to be the best they can possible be and even better.

Agreed. When your opponent is down hit them harder. When they are losing their defense hit them even harder. When they are about to die hit them EVEN HARDER. When they are dead take out your knife and stuff their severed genitalia down their throats and their heads down their anus and mail them back to their families via FedEx ground uninsured.

I remember my freshman year the girl's basketball team lost to centennial or morningside like 100-3 or something.

Aren't girls' high school basketball games only like 32 minutes long? The scores are usually in the ~40s. That's pretty impressive.

that girl is selfish, and should've got her teammates involved. She's also not that great of a player because she doesn't make people around her better. 🙂

exactly. why not do your best all the time? maybe in high school you might want to rotate through the team, but one of these articles said they do this in major leagues too, like you're not supposed to steal bases if you're ahead by a lot. WTF is that?

even the hated Kobe stayed out the 4th quarter after putting up 62 thru 3 because he's team was up by 30 points.

but kobe doesn't get any credit because he's an AHole regardless of how he acts.
