I call that a pretty dick move by the coach. At least in Kobe's case, he pulled the huge game because his team needed it. There was no reason to keep her in the game. Instead, you disgrace some team by 105 points.
 
OOOooo... Girls' HS BBall. And it was against a team that only won 4 games this whole season. And they said they stopped playing Defense the next half.

What's with all of you weenies talking about "sportsmanship"?
In sports competition it's about scoring and winning, there should be no mercy shown.
If that other team sucked that bad then they deserved to get totally destroyed by a single player.

Agreed. When your opponent is down hit them harder. When they are losing their defense hit them even harder. When they are about to die hit them EVEN HARDER. When they are dead take out your knife and stuff their severed genitalia down their throats and their heads down their anus and mail them back to their families via FedEx ground uninsured.

exactly. why not do your best all the time? maybe in high school you might want to rotate through the team, but one of these articles said they do this in major leagues too, like you're not supposed to steal bases if you're ahead by a lot. WTF is that?

you other people saying its all good obviously either dont play sports, you suck at it, or are just assholes yourselves.

when you win, you take it and go on to the next game. there's no need for humiliation. a true athlete wouldnt do it. even the rated #1 asshole like TO wouldnt do something like that
