The pics are actually in reverse order. Kitty is asleep and is awakened by the bird. Once the kitty regains his senses and realizes what is on it's belly all hell breaks loose...

Well, thats really cute and all, but cats have instincts and such and its only a matter of time before this gets ugly, maybe a baby cat isn't into killing stuff yet, but my cat would torn that bird to shreds if it could get its paws on it.
