Take apart 570e Thinkpad

Trying to figure out how to reconnect the ribbon cable which connects the LCD to the motherboard. How do you do this? I can't get the plastic strip at the top out even with all the screws removed.

1. Ribbon cable is loose
2. Can't take out keyboard for unknown reason
3. Help
