Are those really $20 EACH?! That's insane... I'd rather just get some compression fittings and forego the clamps altogether.

Ya those push ons are nice till a hose collapse.
The link was intended for those people that use clamps that HOLD and LOOK great . Interesting you pick the most expensive one instead of the one I said I liked. Hugh price differance. Also what are you going to do with 13/4 inch clamp on a PC . The correct sized one is $11. Expensive yes . LOOKs A+

I use tubing that you can't kink its impossiable. You can't buy this tubing from online PC parts retailers. Cheap is OK . But no thanks I pay more for peace of mind. Kevlar is neat stuff.

I totally distrust zipties.... worm drives FTW. A bit on the ugly side but they won't loosen up and leak!

Actually the Thomas & Betts cable tie with the teardrop shaped head and stainless steel locking point will hold positively. If they will hold a CV joint boot they will work on a barb! :D

Parker+nylon tubing will hold up extremely well. It's not that known in the enthusiast community however they've been around industrial controls forever. If you're handy you can semi-hard plumb everything in Qwest. :D

I am not sure what I am allowed to say . But my son sells teflon tubing with a Kelvar outer sleeve that you can tie in a not without Kinking. These requirer an AN fitting and a special crimping tool to install the fittings on . These are female fittings. He also has male fiiting of all types to fit the AN fittings. 1/4 BSP Oring to AN . 3/8 BSP to AN fitting. Any and all fittings.

Talk about cool . But Expensive. The gentle man I am buying my new pc from. Is now using my sons hoses exclusively. I told him about it and he wanted to see them . He says this is the best stuff he has ever seen. Thats the only PC builder he sells them to .

Mostly he sells to companies in are area for use inside manufactoring plants. Its only a part time business for him but its generating a lot of interest. He believes he will beable to quit his job next year . As his business is growing at 30% a year.

Pretty hard to walk away from an $80,000 year job. I can't do the work so I can't help him . Dam drunk driver changed my life forever.
