Does anyone know how well this HSF performs
Athlon? (K7) Slot A Forged Model CGK730002
It say it is rated up to 1.1 GHz, but i want to know specifics, how it does against a Alpha cooler, or a globalwin, the wattage it can dump. Thanks

Go to the Taisol site and look under "reviews" where there is a link to a site reviewing these things. Also, maybe think about the 742 model for a little more cooling. Good Luck

There are no reviews for the SlotA HSF.
That why I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. They look good, but I can't get any information from anyone. Not even Taisol themselves, oh well, I'm probably going to go with the Proven GlobalWin VOS32 and direct mount it to my CPU

I just had a great idea....I emailed AMD, since they recomend this heatsink they must know something about it. It's too bad Taisol will not answer my questions

typically forged heatsinks outperform mold heatsinks. the 742 model outperforms the cek734 which was the current taisol champ. i'm running my athlon gig at 1155 right now, and the heatsink is only warm, so no problems here. the forged heatsinks that taisol makes will outperform their other heatsinks and their new "Big Bad VooDoo Daddy" (the cgk742) *should* outperform all other heatsinks even with a much smaller, quiter fan.
