TaiSol CGK742092 Arctic silver or thermal pad??

Just got the TaiSol CGK742092 and also got a tube of arctic silver should i use the pad or AS ???

Answered in GH, but AS will perform a bit better.

Will the TaiSol CGK742092 perform better with thermal pad then a Alpha 6035???

Since there is no way to accurately measure core temp, i would say that based on in-socket thermistor measurements, they would be very close, if not the same.

ArcticSilver, based on in-socket temp measurement, would probably drop the temp anywhere from .5C to 2C(or possibly more).

As far as core temp performance, they are probably fairly comparable.

Thanks mike. Well I spent $14 on this arctic silver might as well use it i just dont feel like scrapping off thermal pad right now LOL
