Taisol CEK733092 just as good as an Alpha, at half the price?

Please see the thread and product link below. Any experience with the Taisol HSF combo appreciated. Also wondering if this is OK to use on PIII's and Celerons - Alpha has the plastic feet to keep it level on the processor, and this unit does not.

Yeah, thanks Mike, read the other thread. Was wondering about other things in addition to temp reduction capability, like overall quality, if there is fan RPM monitor, possible issues with the clip, etc. Was mainly looking for others' experience in addition to yours, not that yours isn't good, but input from more than one person is always better than just one.

I got curious and ordered one. The TaiSol is 1 degree C off my Delta. I'm impressed.

The Taisol is quiet...it has a 21.19 CFM Delta fan.

The "Delta" is probably referring to a 38CFM Delta fan that some use on Alpha and Globalwin...

Sorry. I meant to say "Alpha" (6035 w/YS Tech) not Delta. My bad. And yes, it's very quiet.

I got two Sunon "quiet" 80mm fans and my case is quiet as a whisper.

I bought two, they are cheap and shipping is reasonable. It's heavy, quiet and cools well. By the way the fan clip (not the heatsink clip) is cool! I think it's way better than screws.

Let me put it this way. I had the Taisol HSF on w/out the fan spinning by accident(Don't try this at home). An hour later, my CPU is still alive & kicking @ 1Ghz(700 Duron.)
