I just found out about it. It looks like a really good deal. Only 11 bucks! Anybody know what the shipping cost is?

A few questions about the HSF... I read that it comes with a thermal pad. Will this be Ok? I know everyone recommends compound but I don't really want to go to the expense and the trouble. What about the physical features of the HSF. Will it fit in an ABIT KT7/ASUS A7V?

And what is this about having either a 4pin connector or 3pin SMART connector. Which one do I want if I am going to have an ABIT/ASUS board? Which one does the HSF have?

And if I don't get this fan, than I can get the Antec one off of 3Dfxcool.com. It is $20 and comes with compound instead of a pad.

Thanks

If you don't plan on overclocking the CPU it would be an excellent fan.

Actually, I am planning to overclock the Duron 700 I am going to get. I want it to go at least up to 800mhz. I won't be that dissapointed if it doesn't overclock. Why do you say I should get it ONLY if I don't overclock? What fan should I get then?

According to someobdy in the CPU/Processors and Overclocking forum, he had only 2C difference between the TaiSol T-Bird cooler and an Alpha Pal6035.
