Taisol 760092 or Swiftech 462-A?

I am putting a new system together with a 1.4 Tbird in a K7 Master mobo. No oc'ing. It will be all SCSI and go into an Antec 1030 or clone case. Other components are not yet clear but will have two SCSI hard drives, DVD, CD-RW and tape drive, all SCSI. Other than cooling I am interested in minimizing noise to the best possible extent.

It sounds as if the Taisol is recommended as a good compromise to combine cooling and noise. But I am unsure if it can do the cooling job for my set up. If not, I might want to go with the Swiftech 462, which no doubt would do the job. Maybe I should just opt for the 462 with a rheostat or perhaps change the stock 462 fan to a low noise fan?

What do you all think? TIA.

The TaiSol will do fine on your 1.4 T-Bird. As long as you're not trying to overclock it the TaiSol will keep the temp nice and cool. It's quite low noise too, and it costs a lot less.

What CFM fan can you get away with on a MC370 Swiftech? I'm mainly referring to a 1.4 gb Athlon that isn't OC. Sorry for changing the subject.
