Taisol 740092 bracket

Just got myself one of these and Im a bit currious over the construction. Beneath the bracket there is a small spacer of sorts that separates the bracket from the heatsink itself. The thing is that the space is placed in such a way that only the middle part of the bracket pushes down on the heatsink, the other two hangs in the air. Its a bit hard to explain unless you know what it looks like, but would it be a good idea to rotate the spacer so that a larger part of the bracket applies preasure on the heatsink?

How bright of me to write the wrong product number, well actually it is a cgk 760092 but it looks very much like the one that got linked too. It could honsestly be any cooler as there is nothing on the box or the heatsink itself that identifies it. Wonder how Taisol (and the folks who sells their coolers) manage their stock?

Oki, I'll leave the spacer alone.
