it can be loaded on a flash drive and leaves on trace behind once you reboot.

Never used it, but I'm familiar with it. I'd use it if I traveled overseas. Take the hd out of the laptop, and boot to Tails when I wanted to use the computer. Keeps the border patrol criminals from poking around your stuff.
