ive recently started doing some very basic exercises in the morning over the past week.
Ive been practicing the 'natural standing stance' (i've seen this called several things) for 5-10 mins in the morning with some visualizations, i picture stress & tension leaving my feet as black clouds on exhales & on inhales i visualize sort of like white clouds coming into my feet.
I plan on learning some of the other stances after I work on this for a while. I have noticed that it does really relax me, help bring things into focus more. perhaps it is just a function of getting more oxygen and just making myself relax each day.
i tend to carry some stress throughout the day and this has appeared to help that.
even if its psychosomatic, anything to help relieve stress, i think is a great thing for me, what with the history of stroke, hypertension that runs in my family.
anyone else do exercises like this in the mornings / during the day?
