I own an Asus PI/P55T2P4 (socket 7), and I am looking to upgrade to more than 64 megs of RAM, and it says in the manual that for it to be cachable I need a TAG SRAM chip upgrade. I noticed I have an empty slot right above the CPU right for this purpose. My question is now: from where can I get this part, and what performance loss might I expect if the RAM is not cachable?

Those tag ram chips are hard to find. I have a couple lying around. PM or email me if you want one. That is a great board! I have one (kids PC) with an AMD K6-3+ 450 CPU, 128 meg ram, Voodoo 3 2K. Nice little PC.
