I just finnished watching it. I was awestruck throughout most of the movie. I got the same feelings/emotions watching this movie as I did when Watching Band of Brothers for the first time. This movie is amazing and I think anyone who has any interest in War Movies, the Korean War, or just brilliant filmmaking at it's best should really see this masterpiece. It's a shame it didn't get any play time on the theaters over here in the US, though that tends to happen a lot with foreign films.

Anyhow, Buy the DVD, rent it, pirate it, do whatever you have to do to see this movie, it is both one of the most beautiful things as well as one of the most horrible things I have ever seen.

I've seen it, it's a fantastic movie. I liked it even more than SPR.

You can rent this from blockbuster. Good movie. One of the actresses from the movie comitted suicide not too long ago.

horrible. i saw it in the theater. beyond the little style stolen from saving private ryan, its over long, it is over dramatic, over acted.. cliche ridden..just a big overwrought sappy contrived melodrama.

if you want a good korean film go watch old boy instead.

Yes, I agree this is one of the best war movies I've seen, and I collect them, I got it back in March at Hastings for $8.99 used, and it was a great investment, I've watched it at least a half dozen times

I rented it on Netflix and was glad I didn't buy it. It was only okay.

Im korean and i watched that movie in korea with my dad. I thoguht it was whatevers. I also watched Shilmido which came out around the same time and i thought that movie was way better. Its about the north and south kroean conflict. It starts out when a group of north korean special forces try and infiltrate south korea and assasinate the south kroean president. After this south korea gathers criminals that were on death row and forces them to a boot camp where they are riguroulsy trained without will. They end up very commited to the assaination and i wil lstop there since i wil lbe killing the movie.
