Taco Bell or Taco Johns?

If you vote bell over johns, you have obviously never been to taco johns..

Taco Tuesday is a life saver

"Taco John's" is a Name I'd trust about as much as "Jorge Rodriguez's Italian Cuisine".

And no, Taco John's doesn't seem to exist in places that have actual Mexican food.

Mmmm.....real Mexican food. There's tons of great little places in San Antonio.

I used to go to Texas with my dad every week when I was young. Laredo had some killer mexican food places. Some of them looked like holes in the wall, but were good stuff. I am sure San Antonio has the same 🙂

I've had real Mexican food in Mexico and it wasn't very good. But we have hordes of largely Americanized type Mexican food restaurants run by members of our abundant local Hispanic population that are quite good.

We have a Taco Bell and five Mexican restaurants in my small town but no Taco Johns. My town must be crazy about Mexican food because none of them are ever hurting for business. I think I put a few waiters through college in a few of them. 😉

LOL... sounds like here! I'm not even sure how many we have. Some have multiple locations as well.

Yeah, we've got a "mexican" place that opened up last year called "Carlos O'Kellys" (seems like a national chain, but I'm not sure)

But I live in Omaha, and we've got Taco John's and numerous actual mexican restaurants.
