I've been looking at the different models of the Tablet PCs for a while now and I've pretty much focused on the Compaq TC1100. I'm looking for a Tablet PC that is powerful enough for Visio, Rational Rose and Code development. Basically, it'll be a technical idea station. I might do a little CAD but nothing overly complex. The TC1100 seems to have all the features I want but the price is at my ceiling - $2000. If anyone has any ideas for alternative, similarly powered TablePCs for less, let me know.
Now the big question, is where. I've resorted to looking at eBay which we all know can get good prices but there's no consumer safety. I kinda don't know where to buy where I can get a good price and feel confident in the reseller.
Any ideas?
