only useful for doctors. college students should be spending that money on alcohol.

if you're a science major and need to draw lots of diagrams, i wouldn't bother.

Too pricey

We have one at home but got it at a really nice deal we couldn't pass up, but for the regular price I wouldn't get it

any places to get cheap reliable ones?
or to get good prices for them?
they are so innovative...so cool...
i bet it's the cool-ness really drivin me to get it..ahahaha
no but really, it seems like such a great desktop replacement cuz it gives me portability
and wide range of applications...such as no carrying binders..cuz it will be all typed...

they aren't really that much more expensive than any of the other really portable laptops.

you take a good subnotebook and compare it to a touchpad pc. similar pricing between $1800 and $2100. the subnotebook will have slightly better performance overall, but neither are gaming machines. both will have similar battery's etc.

conclusion, if you are getting a subnotebook anyway, get a touch pad pc instead.

i bought one - they are cool for about 1 week, then the novelty wears off. i returned it for a full refund and bought a more powerful ultraportable notebook.

Okay Mr "I use my laptop for AIM and Bittorrent"

Tablets are awesome. But it's kinda hard to justify spending that mucht o replace a $2 notebook.
