Im looking at getting a tablet PC soon, hopefully around next quarter of college. Price really isnt a problem right now but the cheaper the better. I would prefer a convertable tablet so i can also use it as a laptop when I want to.
The only thing that I am going to use it for is school work, internet, email, and things like that. so graphics arent really important. As long as it can play a DVD.
There are a few things I was looking to make sure when i got one.
I was thinking for at least a 1.5GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM that way it will be some what powerful and the extra RAM wont hurt it any I will only help Windows. I need to have built in Wireless so i can connect up to almost any netwok.
The only one that I have seen that I liked so far is the one from Gateway, for about $1800. is there one that will meet my needs for cheaper? any of you know. Also I would be using the pin alot so it must be able to track it well.
One more thing is it possible to get something like contact plasic or something, like the stuff you can get for PDAs so they dont scratch when you use the pin, for a tablet PC?
