Hi,
i had this idee some days ago and wanted to ask if it is possible.
The only difference between a modern smartphone and a tablet pc is the screen size, so to get a tablet a smartphone owner just needs a second screen with a bigger size. One possibility is a concept like the ASUS Padfone.
Would it now be possible to use a wireless connection instead of the direct docking connection of the Padfone ?
If it is possible a simple screen with a battery and a wireless module woud be enough to upgrade a smartphone to a tablet pc. A resulting device could be exceptionally thinn and light. Think about a much thinner and lighter ipad2, also different screen sizes like 7, 10, and 12'' could be provided without much problem.
What do you think is such a device practical, how much would it cost, will we see such a device in the near future ?
English is not my first language so i hope you don't mind errors so much
