So I've been looking @ cabinet style table saws

Do you like:

1.) Grizzly 12 inch $1,595.00 Never seen one, but hear good things & the price is right.

2.) Delta Left tilt Unisaw $1,799.00

3.) JET Left Tilt $1,699.99

4.) Powermatic Model 66 $2,149.99 (pretty unlikely)

If I can't scrounge up one of these puppies used by this fall, I'll get a new one...

**update**

Update

Just called dibbs on a used table saw in Alabama, will grab it next month.

JET 708663PK / JTAS-10XL50-W1 3 HP, 10" Xacta Saw, Left Tilt with 50" Xacta Fence

& this Incra TSLS Table Saw System

& a mobile base. Sweet, nearly 1/2 off of retail, once you cut a single board it's used anyway:)

I wouln't normally consider driving that far, but the guy has just been told he has metastatic cancer & is selling off his nearly new woodshop tools:(

Love Incra stuff...

LOL, just realized I bought the least selected poll option...

I'd say try to get a look at them in person. The specs only tell you so much, and the specs on these aren't to much different most likely. Things like the flatness & smoothness of the cast iron, how smoothly the controls work, which fence system you like better, etc. are going to tell you more then the specs.

The only cabinet saws I've ever user have been Unisaws, so I can't really compare, but I voted Unisaw anyway :)

So far I've used a Powermatic, Jet & Unisaw, they all seem pretty similar, am interested in the Grizzly (but they're mail order only, no B&M presence), the WW class teachers I've had won't say anything bad about them.

Sweet criminy those are expensive saws.

Yep, but you can't get the same results from a bench type saw or a contractor's saw. Everything about WW is precision, the big heavy saws stay adjusted better, cut more square, and heve the HP to cut through some serious wood. I believe all the ones I listed are 220V.

I love my grizzly.. granted mine is the *budget* $475 one but I still love it!

Did you get yours online or @ a tent sale?

What do you think of the fit & finish of your saw, quality of the table?
