Booth, if the party you're with will fit in it. If I have to wait 45 extra minutes to fit the seven people in our party, a table is more than ok.

restaurants usually don't have booths in europe.

Some have a booth-like bench against the wall so like 2 sides of the corner table have a bench/couch set against the wall as seating.
I hate it, it's uncomfortable to get in/out, I can't slide back the seat, and they're difficult to clean so I don't think they even do it.
They usually do not exist anyway.

Buffalo Grill usually has booths. They're a logistics nightmare.

Still, don't really care, as long as the food is okay, and the place isn't too busy.

No preference, but generally table if asked. I know more people prefer booths and since i dont care, might as well let someone else have it.

Walked into Pappadeaux Restaurant for lunch today at 10:50 AM (10-minutes before they officially open). We're regulars there and they know we like booths. By 11:07 AM (7 minutes after officially opening), all four booths were filled and represented the majority of customers in the restaurant. Speaks for itself, every Saturday.
