Table of make/model by where they are made

Hello, I was just wondering if there exists a table/spreadsheet which lists each make model by where they are assembled? I think this would be very useful and interesting.

If not, would anyone be interested if I created one? Where is the best site to get info on where a car is assembled/parts used? All I know of is Edmunds which I believe just lists the place of assembly.

Thanks.

I've never seen such a table, but you can easily find where a single car is assembled on edmunds or autos.msn.com

Yeah I was just hoping there was a centralized place for the info in an easy to read format like a table. Maybe I'll put one together.

Such central repositories of auto information are hard to find. Along with detailed specs like gear ratios & other things Joe Blow consumer doesn't care about.

It's not uncommon for a car to be made in more than one place. I believe Dodge Rams are made both in the US and in Mexico.

The car magazines will post this information sometimes but so many cars today get their parts from more than one source it is hard to call a car manufactured in the USA an American brand anymore.

Especially since many American cars are not even manufactured in the US anymore. Hell, I'd bet that more Japanese cars are made in the US now than American cars.
