Sorry Jay, nothing new until Win2K server shows up. Charrison supposedly shiped it off, but I've heard the same thing from Steve before...😱
 
We've been hearing this song and dance about them sending it for at least 2 or 3 months now. :|

How much is Win2K Server? Is there someone who owns a company that could buy it for us? If I was willing to pitch in for the Gamebox, I'm sure the heck willing to pitch in for Win2K Server so we can get on with it. 🙂

We've been waiting long enough, and I feel the benefits of having that site far outweigh the cost. I'm sure others feel the same way, and would be willing to pitch in. Also, how much is in the "pot" that hasn't been used, maybe some of that could be allocated to help defray the cost of the OS? 🙂

We do have an offer from Cll Sr. for a copy of Win2K Server, but I really don't want to end up with 2 copies of Win2K Server in our possession. If it isn't there by next Friday, I'll see if we can't get Cll Sr. to ship it, and tell Dcypher to forget it.😱

PS Win2K server is $700 or so, which is more than what's left in the pot :Q
 
I'm sorry to say thay after the response on the offer, I sold the OS to another AnandTecher. I thought it was on its way to Mika so I offered it up to another in need. (my bad)😱
