are they holding blocks or can they just not double our output? What I mean is, why is it that they have twice as many members, -200, and still can't double our output? I am sure that some of us are holding blocks, but are they holding the 200,000+ a day that it takes to double output? Or am I just looking at this all wrong?

Hmm.. if we had 50% more members we'd hold 1st place indefinitely 😉
 
well I did forget to take into consideration is all the members of the mini teams. So in truth we have a lot more people than we think.

Now if we could get the top hitters in seti to convert for a month maybe we would hold them off for a bit 😉

BTW do not want anyone to bother the seti folks though. 😉

I helped ya all out, wish I could give them to someone else, now which one? Seti, or ogr? Think I will go with OGR for a month. Hope they are some civil people!






 
well since im a member i know for a fact we are holding blocks back, we are still hoping too pass you before the 600M line. but i dont think we are gonna make that. I think this little competion of us is getting a little too serious!
 
Misser won't be flushing large amount anyway, he got fired by his company, because dnetc should cause security risks... 🙁 🙁
 
Danzigrules: Our SETI group is already helping the RC5 effort. The Seti Cavalry is about to hit the top 100 producers list and have been in the to 20 or 30 range on the TeAm dailies. A number of us have been lending a hand, full-time, for the month of Jan.

I did some calculations and extrapolations based on my SETI output to see what would happen if the "Top Hitters" were to help with RC5 for a month. Based on last week's production, the top 10 producers were responsible for 49.85% of the output. If all of that power were put towards RC5 it would generate about 115,000 block per day. That level of output would not make much difference since the TeAm is down 1 million blocks per day, but it would kill the progress our SETI TeAm has been making.

Not knowing all the details, I would still like to hear the administrations excuse why they fired him. 😛 But if they are firing him over that, then more power to him! He probably didn't need to be working there anyway. Press on to a better job my friend! Life's too short to live unhappy. (Even if you are on the DPC team.. (I hate supervisors that don't know their head from a hole in the ground..))😕
